Where AI is used
AI is involved in the following:
- AI project planner — generates a planning checklist from your answers, instantly and without human review.
- Weddington journal — articles are generated by an AI model on a monthly schedule and published automatically. They are checked by automated rules (for example, to avoid dates and time-sensitive claims) but are not reviewed by a person before publication.
- Guide content — AI tools assisted in drafting and editing guide text, which was compiled against named primary sources.
- Imagery — many photographs on the site are AI-generated illustrations and do not depict real properties.
Limitations
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misleading, and can state errors confidently. Automated publication can contain errors that no person has caught. Do not rely on AI-generated material for legal, financial, construction, school, purchase or other consequential decisions; verify with the responsible authority and a licensed professional.
What happens to planner submissions
Text you enter in the planner is sent through an AI gateway to a third-party model provider to produce your checklist. We request that the provider not store the request, but we cannot verify the provider's retention or training practices, and we do not claim confidentiality. Do not enter names, addresses, financial details or other sensitive information. The website does not save your planner answers.
