Weddington School District Map & Address Lookup

Step one: the address lookup

Enter the full property address in the UCPS Edulog address lookup and select the school year you care about. The result lists the assigned elementary, middle and high school for that address. Save or print the result with the date you checked it.

Step two: the boundary map

Open the UCPS attendance-boundary maps to see where the address sits relative to the edge of each zone. A home near a boundary line deserves extra attention, because a future reassignment is more likely to affect it than a home in the middle of a zone.

The Weddington campus cluster

Weddington Elementary is at 3927 Twelve Mile Creek Road, Weddington Middle at 5903 Deal Road and Weddington High at 4901 Weddington Road. The site's interactive area map plots these campuses with nearby Rea View and Marvin elementary schools for orientation. A school's name does not mean every Weddington address is assigned to it.

Common mistakes

Most school surprises come from relying on a shortcut instead of the address lookup.

• Assuming a Weddington ZIP code or mailing address guarantees Weddington schools.
• Trusting a listing portal's school field without checking UCPS.
• Assuming every home in a subdivision shares one assignment.
• Checking the current year when the move happens in a later school year.
• Overlooking approved reassignment notices from the Board of Education.

Before you buy or build

Make school confirmation part of due diligence for every address on a shortlist, and repeat it before closing. If you are building, confirm assignment for the parcel address before purchasing the land.
