The publisher and the Peters businesses will never ask you through this website, text message, social media or unsolicited email for passwords, one-time authentication codes, private keys, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or payment through an unverified channel.

Common fraud

Real estate and construction transactions are frequent targets. Watch for:

• Emails or texts impersonating an agent, builder, closing attorney or designer.
• Spoofed or lookalike domains and email addresses that differ by a character.
• Fraudulent invoices or last-minute changes to wiring or payment instructions.
• Lookalike social-media accounts or websites using the Peters or Weddington NC Guide names.

Verify before you act

Verify any payment instruction or sensitive request by calling a phone number you already know to be correct, such as the number published on this website, not a number in the message. The only email address published on this website is npeters@yourleaderinluxury.com. If a wire is misdirected, contact your bank immediately and report it to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center.

No system is completely secure

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Do not send confidential documents through forms or ordinary email.

Report a security issue

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, email npeters@yourleaderinluxury.com with the subject "Security report" and a description of the issue. Please do not publicly disclose it, access data that is not yours, or perform testing that could disrupt the website. This is not an invitation to test the site, and no authorization for testing is given by this notice.
