How it works

What we consider
- Places and recurring outings in Weddington and nearby towns that residents would genuinely use.
- Editorial coverage is never for sale. Sponsored features and hosted visits are always labeled as such.
- We don't promise coverage, favorable reviews, audience size or rankings.
Events
We publish timeless weekend ideas rather than a dated calendar, so recurring outings (markets, seasonal series) are the best fit. Read our editorial standards.
What makes a strong submission
- The exact town and street address, so we can label the location accurately.
- An official website or public page we can cite as the source.
- A clear description of who it suits — families, date nights, guests, active outings.
- Whether access is public, ticketed or members-only.
Labels we use
- Editorial — chosen and written by us, with no payment.
- Hosted visit — the business provided a visit or service at no cost; the opinion stays ours.
- Sponsored — paid placement, always labeled.
- Affiliated — a business owned by the publishers.
Common questions
Before you send.
- Does submitting guarantee coverage?
- No. Every submission is reviewed against our editorial standards, and we cover places that are useful to Weddington residents and can be supported by an official source.
- Can my business pay to be included?
- Editorial inclusion is never for sale. Sponsored features may be offered separately and are always labeled as sponsored.
- Do you publish event dates?
- We publish timeless weekend ideas, not a dated calendar, so recurring outings are the best fit. Visitors are always sent to your official page for current dates.
- Is my information stored on this website?
- No. The form prepares an email in your own email app addressed to our inbox. Nothing is saved on this site, and nothing is sent unless you press send.
- Can my place be listed if it's not in Weddington?
- Yes. Many useful places are in Waxhaw, Matthews, Wesley Chapel, Marvin or south Charlotte. We label every listing with its actual town.
